We are taking Sill invite-only and shifting our focus to a research program. New sign-ups are closed. Existing accounts will be wound down over the next few weeks. If you want to keep using the platform, or if you are working on something where access would help, the request access form is the way in.
TL;DR
Sill is moving to invite-only access while we run a focused research program. New self-serve sign-ups are closed and the marketing CTAs across the site now route to a request form. Several features (Watchdog, Compass recommendations, Perception scanner) are paused; monitoring, content auditing, and citation tracking continue to run as before. Existing customers who want continued access can reach out through the access request form and we will reinstate them. We are not ready to discuss the research publicly yet; there will be writing as it comes out.

The pricing page is still up for reference, but every CTA on the site now points to a request form rather than self-serve checkout. Existing accounts will be wound down over the coming weeks. We are not deleting account data on purpose; the wind-down is about removing the assumption that anyone can sign up and start using the platform unattended. If you have data in Sill that you want to keep using, send a note through the request form and we will reinstate you.
A few features in the product are being paused while we focus elsewhere. Watchdog, Compass recommendations, and the Perception scanner are turned off for the time being. Monitoring, content auditing, citation tracking, and the rest of the measurement pipeline continue to run as before. The dashboard will show paused features clearly so nothing disappears without explanation.
Billing is unchanged. We are not asking anyone to pay for less than they were getting before, and the surface area people use day to day is still there.
We are spending the next phase of the company on a research agenda we have been building toward for a while. The work is methodologically heavy and not the kind of thing we can do well at the same time as serving every inbound prospect. Going invite-only lets us run the program at the depth it requires, with a smaller set of design partners who actually care about the questions we are looking into.
We are not ready to talk publicly about the research itself yet. There will be writing and published work as it comes out, on the same blog where you are reading this. If you are working on related questions and want to compare notes, the request form is the best way to start that conversation.
Use the request access form. Tell us what you are working on and whether you are an existing user. We will reply when we have something useful to say, which is usually within a few business days. Existing customers who reach out will be reinstated.
If you have questions that do not fit in a form, the contact page still works.
